Okay, so this post has nothing to do with Halloween, other than that’s what today is.

I wanted to give an update on the weight loss plan. I’ve been off of it for the last coupla months and even gained a few pounds (5 or so, I was at 208  yesterday morning) back. So…I’m planning to kick it back up into high gear again next week. I’ve been flirting with the diet this week and plan to go full-on diet and exercise starting next week. I plan to go through the holiday season, which will be good as I won’t be as tempted to overeat. I still will enjoy a Thanksgiving meal, but I’ll only get one plate instead of going back for seconds. Wish  me luck!

Last night, went out to the state fair for the second time this week. I went with the Refocus Phoenix group. I’ll post a coupla my shots soon, along with one of me in my Halloween costume. I know, you’re so excited, right?

So, I heard this morning on the radio that people are moving out of their 401Ks…Umm…it’s a little late for that. Maybe if you were smart you did it 8 months to 1 year ago, but if you’re moving out of a 401k today, you’re just dumb. Unless you think its all going to 0 (theoretically possible, but very unlikely), then it doesn’t really matter where your money is.

Yep, it did.

“Hi there. What’s your name?”

A high, squeaky voice responded, “I’m Inflation!”

So now I know:

Okay, well, I’m dumb…but willing to learn. I recently made a post and comment and it was completely wrong. The House and Senate can both introduce bills. What the Senate passed last night is an amendment to a bill introduced by the House. The amendment contains the bailout.

Does this seem right to everyone?

And, yes, I was completely wrong about Obama and McCain not voting last Monday, because it was a House-introduced bill that was voted on in that instance. Had it passed, it would’ve then gone on to the Senate.

Guess that U.S. History class really paid off in high school, huh? Geesh.
