I wholeheartedly concur! Especially the part about healthcare. I've yet to speak with anyone who's tried to transition from a minimum wage job, qualifying for state aid (while raising children) to a job with medical benefits. Its no picnic lemmee tell ya. It pains me to see how many people continue to hide behind the "Obama is a Muslim" arguement when: 1) What would be the problem with that <em>if</em> he was? 2) Why do you cling to that argument despite all the evidence otherwise? My roommate has some elderly relatives living in a depressed part of Pennsylvania: Frackville (sp?). Apparently one of these relatives clings to the above argument as a way to be a closet racist. Seriously. I'm going to be glad when this election is over -- the suspense and anxiety is killing me! :-P Very well written.
