For something to be disproven, it first has to be proven.
Learning ‘the Google’
Are you really smart? And tired of your friends asking you the ins and outs of quantum mechanics when there’s a whole world wide web of information out there? Don’t mind seeming a bit jerky? Send them this link, and ‘let me Google that for you.’
On Saturday, April 4, I shot some photos at the Ahwatukee Foothills 5k for Fast Track Photography. If you want to see them click here for a link to the Fast Track Photography site.
Almost February Update
I see I haven’t really updated much on here, lately. I suppose that’s because there’s not really too much going on. But I guess a little update is in order.
Photography course:
Hmm, this seems to have taken a back burner. I have completed Unit 1 (I think there are 6 units). Really need to jump back into that. I have to finish my pictures for unit 1. Hopefully can come up with something over my little Disneyland trip (see below). The only picture type I believe I have remaining is the large depth-of-field shot, in which items in the picture up close are in focus as well as those off in the distance.
Photographic purchases:
I like the Minolta 70-210 beercan I purchased. Took a bunch of shots at the Arizona PF Changs Rock ‘n Roll Marathon. I think ability-wise I’m ready to upgrade my camera body to the Sony Alpha A700, but my budget says otherwise. Stupid budget. Maybe for my birthday in June. I think I’m getting really close to wanting to do more portrait/headshot-type work. I’d also like to get the Sigma 70mm f/2.8 EX DG lens, which would work well for portrait work.
Music:
Haven’t played the trumpet in a long time. Need to start doing that again. Maybe I’ll sign on with the Glendale Summer Band again this year. That was fun and the drive would be a little less than when I did it in 2007.
Trips:
Going to Disneyland next week! And the beach! With my sweetie, Sonia! Are you ready, Sweetie? I know I am!
That’s enough for now. I’m hoping to get some fun shots while on my trip!
