I made a new goal for weight: 179 pounds (81.19 kg, for those of you you like metric). Why such a random number? That will be exactly 50 pounds from where I started.
I’ve been slacking a little the last couple of weeks on my workouts. My knees have been bothering me, so I’m trying to not to push them too much.
Last week, week 7, I was down another 2 pounds (and 1 pound the week before). My official weight for week 7 was 211. My goal for the end of week 8 (tomorrow) is 209 (20 POUNDS!). I still can’t believe how much my weight crept up over the last 2 or 3 years, as my current weight is where I was 2 or 3 years ago. Anywho, I’ll try to get some photos up by the end of the week.
Week 8 also marks the end of the Men’s Health Belly Off 2008 program (its an 8-week program). I’m trying to decide if I just start it over, or sign up for something a little more intensive like Turbulence Training — the basis of the Belly Off program.
